Default How to remove body kit??

Thinking of doing this. Wanted to know how I can remove my Stillen side skirts and rear lip myself?? Will there be too much excess mess underneath? Glue? Paint? How tough itll be to do myself? Take it to a body shop?

1 more question. The side skirts just go over the stock body right? If I do take out the Stillen sides I dont have to go looking for stock sides right? Thanks!!

The stillen sides replace the orignal side skirts. As for the rear lip, if it wasn't screwed in you should technically be able to remove it, just use heat. If when you do get it off and there is alot of excess adhesive take it to a body shop and they can easily remove it. They have a tool called an eraser disc designed to remove addhesive, small decals, and tape on pinstripes without removing or damaging the paint.

So if I were to take off the sides there wont be anything underneath? Oh man I was hoping the original body would be underneath.

Correct. The OEM side skirts are gone.

really easy, unless you are missing a bunch of pop connectors or something of that sort.

its easy putting it on than taking it off.
