this could be a stupid question but what ever im going to ask anyways. have any of you put HIDs on the high beam socket? i was thinking of putting a 3000k there for heavy rain/ fog situations dont want to put wholes in my bumper for add on fog lights and have to deal with switches and wiring.

HID is more than a bulb. It is a system. You cannot switch between HID and no-HID simply by switching bulbs.

 

i know i would have to get the full kit i was thinking of retrofiting projectors on the highbeam portion of the headlights and put 3000k HIDs in them
