Yeah someones car's tow hook went into my rear bumper.

There is a break in the bumper about two inches long, and the area around it is dented. is it possible to use filler and just paint over the damage area, or do i have to replace the entire damn cover?

(i understand the filler is a cheap, half *** solution, but im saving up for a body kit so i really dont feel like buying a new oem cover. lol)

Ouch. A shop does not like to fix bumper covers. Remove, patch, paint, install. Its too time consuming. Besides the cover flexes, and may not hold a patch.

Your car is insured right?

If you plan on getting aero then dont even worry about repairing it. Put a damn sticker over it for the time being if it bothers you that much. It could be repaired but i wouldnt bother if you're going to replace it anyways.

Kitty hair, bondo, and repaint. You shouldn't have any issues.

lol, the rear bumper was useless, the crack goes all the way from the bottom to the turn signal, also it had another crack in the middle of it, thats why I ziptied it.

the guys from formula D showed this trick to us when they came, several crashes ended in them putting the bumpers together with zipties
