Headlight Downgrade 06->03, No blinker?
I just put a friends 06 headlights on my car and am trying to install my 03 HID's into his 2006 Z. Everything seems to work, except I can't get the front turn signals to work.
I noticed that when I turn the hazards on the parking lights blink so I thought maybe the wires are backwards, I cut them and switched them around, but still no turn signals. I also noticed the parking light was blinking really fast when I turned the turn signal on, as was the inside turn signal tick/tock noise/light.
How do I get the turn signals working? This is a 2003 HID headlamp installed on a 2006 Z. Can anyone tell me what to cut/switch/whatever? I'm a noob at wiring.

Okay so I noticed there are only 6 wires entering the 2006-Z-Side wiring harness, but on the 2003-05 Z headlights there are 8. I attempted some ghetto wiring without using the harness except for the HID highbeam/lowbeam portion (which works)... but still can't get the turn signal or parking lights to function. The wiring harnesses look like this:
'06 Car-Side(Female):

1-4 = HID stuff that all works properly
5 = Green w/ white stripe wire... it blinked my test light circuit tester when the turn signal and/or hazards were on (so I think it's the turn signal wire)
7 = some wire that constantly has power (so I think it's for the parking light)
6 & 8 = empty
03-05 Headlight-Side (Male):

I joined headlight-side-wires #7 and #8 together, then tapped them into car-side-wire #7. I also tapped headlight-side-wire #5 into car-side-wire #5. I put the ground wire on the chassis, but it's still not working...
AGH did I get the car-side wiring harness wrong? How should I wire this bizatch?
I know someone out there has put 03-05 HID's in a later year 2006 Z. How did you wire them to get them fully functional?
