Question Thinking about the Duraflex B-2 Bodykit. Thoughts?

First off heres the kit....
http://www.duraflexbodykits.com/0308...t-p-22434.html

I have been looking at this kit off and on for about 6 months now but have failed to find all but one other driver with this kit or find any unbiased literature/topics on it as well.
So...
Im bringing this up because to me its a great looking kit but the prices seems too low to assure quality (meaning usually when a kit is $700 i have problems with it later on) so im asking for any personal experence with this kit from anyone else out there.
What makes me really iffy about this kit is that no vendors sell it in the markerplace. (hint hint for all you vendors out there)

thanks

o btw im only talking about the non-widebody. i dont like the way the widebody look on this kit.

different site with more pics...
http://www.raceonusa.com/index.php?m...ducts_id=16232

just in case the links dont work or for those on the forums at there jobs heres the site info on the kit

these kits have lots of bad fitments issue

for you to make them nice and neat you have to do alot of work on them
means lot more $$ and good shops to make them right !

and they are too over aggresive which means really aggresive wheel setup

and lots of $$ mods to make the car faster

or eles its just a show car with no go

but then it will be funny when you somthing see like that with no speed in it
get me ?

I've never owned a body kit, but from what I've read and from people I've known who've had kits on their car, for the most part fiberglass kits suck. Get a urethane kit or you could go the balla' status route and get carbon fiber.

I'd personally pass on that kit.

i here the same stuff too.
but this isnt a fiberglass kit...but then again i hear some much bad stuff about that material too so it doesn't matter anyways.

urethane is awesome. im not going carbon fiber because i think i would cry if i ever went over a speed bump

o i have heard alot of good thing about fitment on these kits 2. feedback is 50-50. only thing is alot of people only hear about the bad fiting kits and never hear the kit that go on smooth. also it seems that material flexs alot making the small adjustment really easy to make.

from what im getting from alot of people is its really about the shop that puts it on that really make fitment a hit or miss. dont get me wrong fitment is a BIG issue but a good body shop can make anything happen

i keep looking at this kit because its a nice alternative for all the "long nose" body kits they have for the z.

im refering to the cwest and veilside....etc

It seems to me that if we give our opinions, you would ask why. I can tell for a fact that you already have your heart for this kit. Why not look into shine's replica kits? They fit great, and shine stands behind their products.

ok ill look into that

as for having my heart set on this kit... well not really. just really like the long nose look and dont want the v3 cus it was already taken by the fast and the furious and be like 3 other z in my area and i dont want to follow a trend ...plus... this kit seems to be 'smoother'/calmer looking then the vielside v3 while still holding the same lines and was just hoping for some positive feedback to help in my decision.
ill go look into shine more

You want a long nose kit, check out the Vertex lang. It's rare, fitment is outstanding and is durable.

As for fiberglass kits sucking, only if you go with a crappy company. I daily drive my Z with a fiberglass kit and have even scraped it and nudged a curb with the very front and not a single crack.

Buy cheap kits, be prepared to spend twice as much to get it to fit right and to prep/paint it.

if i dont get the cwest and somehow end up with this kit im not getting the back... didnt appeal to me because of the lack of a bumper tuck ability and the vents

I like this A LOT. Way better than the one OP posted. Much better design, cleaner look, and less ricey.

Just my 2 cents.
