shocks for CF hatch and lexan
anyone ever source any? i bought some that are supposed to be the lightest on the market but they are multiple times stronger than my stock ones... there is no way i could ever shut my hatch with these, the entire weight of my body is barely enough to make them move.
i installed them and tried to see if i could shut it until i realized the hatch would break in the half first. i removed them and noted how they are much more powerful then my stock ones.... they say 125# on them... im not sure what rating would be appropriate for my application but im thinking maybe 40# or so based on how these feel.
let me know if you found anything

They're 33% lighter than stock, but if you have a super-light dry carbon hatch and lexan, they still might be a bit on the stronger side. If you've already tried these, PM me, and we'll see if we can get you a set that will work for you.

those are the ones i tried but perhaps the manufacturer put the wrong ones in the package... these ones are rated 125# they say... i am not sure if thats the correct spec or not.
i tried my stocks... they work OK... my hatch makes some ugly noises when shutting it and blasts up like a rocket so i figured i need to not have them on there so somebody doesnt open my hatch unknowing and lose a tooth or break my car
