Default Will 2003 Body Parts Work On A 2007?

Hey All,

Just bought my first 350z. It's a 2007 Roadster, and needs some front body parts replaced. My question is, will parts off a 2003 coupe work? I tracked some down, and was wondering if they are they same.

Thanks in advance

Welcome. Interchangeable parts are shown in several online parts catalogs. Very helpful.

Go here and look up the parts you need. Look at the same part for the different years and see if the part numbers are the same.

Ok. actually the parts I need are bumper, hood, fenders, radiator, etc...basically whole front clip. Guess I could see if I could get one without bumper if other parts will work?

If you have an 07, I would not use 03 parts, especially the bumper and hood.

hood - I don't know anyone who has ever tried an 03 hood on an 07 car - most of us just assume they don't fit because we assume the "hump" in the 07-08 cars are there to clear the new intake manifold. I don't think anyone has ever tried the swap though to know for sure

bumpers are slightly different at the botto, but interchange. Fenders interchange. Rad supports interchange but all brackets on the passenger side are required, or you'll need to do some trimming for proper fitment. Radiators are different...they interchange, but the in/out are in different locations, so you need to stick with a radiator that matches the year car you have, or you'll have to make your own hoses

so previous year fenders interchange, how about door panels and side skirt?
Im thinking almost everthing is the same except the hood and the bumper on the 07, 08?

You're leaving out the fender liners Adam. If he gets an 03-05 bumper, the fender liners will be a bit long and may not fit.

true, forgot that part! front fender liners are wider on 06 + cars vs 03-05 models. So if you use an 07 bumper, you ideally need 06 + front fender liners.
