Default 350z lambo doors that open both ways?

I'm looking for a lambo kit that opens both ways. My old vr4 had a kit that would open sideways or up for car shows.

I basically want it for car shows. I dont wanna be opening the doors upwards all the time... looks stupid lol.

anyone know of a kit?

You need to post in the problem section.

But does the door lock make the clicking noise and it is not catching? Or is it dead completely?

I have the vertical doors.com kit and it opens both ways... well... used to. The shocks that hold the door up died within three months. The company wants 150 a piece for replacements, and I still have to pay for installation at a body shop...

They look good I think, on a Z more than most cars, but I swear, they are more trouble than they are worth. Lol, when I get the kit off of my car, Ill sell you mine!

Your VR-4 had it because deftracing made that VLS specially to do that specifically for the 3000GT.

I don't think your going to find any that do the same thing for the Z

Sincerely a fellow former 3kgt owner

http://www.deftracing.com/

They have a bolt kit and a weld on diablo kit (diablo is a real 90° opening kit) both for $900

Pretty funny you all talk **** about them, but you know you'd want them for your car.

It's not like you use them every where you go. They open both ways which is perfect for car shows and photoshoots with hot women.

If you dont like something you should keep it to your self, this forum doesn't need anymore negativity then it already has.

People need to get over the "LAMBO ONLY DOORS". They started sure, but i dont see why other cars can't use it. It's like non viper cars using racing stripes.
Vertical doors are just like horizontal doors, they serve the same purpose, but one goes up and down while the other goes left and right.

In most cases they're probably more convinient as you're less likely to hit the car next to you, unless you're in a super tight spot. lots of careless people out there (and kids)
As for looks, some people like, some don't, like everything in the world, thats why they make so many different things because we all have different taste. And yes vertical doors arent common, some folks like having something "different" (me being one of them)

I personally LOVE mustangs, im sure there's alot of people who hate them.
I like vertical doors, and there are people who hate them.
Are vertical doors gay? no, different? yes, are they cool/pretty? personal opinion.

So you're saying a they're for every car?

Dodge Caravan? Oh wait, nahhh...

Civic? Done a lot, but... Nahhh....

Escalade/Suburban/Explorer? Nahhh....

I agree to each is own, but honestly think about it.. How much money are you wasting on your "look-at-me" err, I mean Lambo doors? There are tons of things you could do with that money that would either make your car look better or perform better.

Also, zzzmanzzz: the McClaren F1 doesn't have Lambo doors. I would say they are more like gull wings, which are also on the new Mercedes SLS AMG.

Lambo:

McLaren:

They're two different things.

ummm kay now....next will be infractions and bans....

lets help they guy out finding a kit that opens both ways..

OP, a dfw guy named "MesquiteZ" had some that opened both ways. opened up ALMOST all the way before it wouldnt anymore and needed to go up.

he showed us at a DFW meet once, i had met him many times and never knew he had lambo doors till that one time i saw him open up that way....

he bought them solely because he didn't want door dings, etc and for tight spots.....he didnt care about "looking cool" or car shows at all..
