Hit my door pretty bad-> Get CF Doors?
This is the second time I would be having to fix the same door, I am considering just replacing em and putting carbon fiber doors, what do you guys think? Keep em stock or go with the cf
How did you "hit" your door? Why does it keep occurring? CF doors will only get damaged worse than factory doors with most any type of impact.
Do you have a roll cage and or drive it much on the street?
If the answer is no to the first, and/or yes to the second, I vote no for the sake of your life. I just don't think it's worth it, even though the weight loss achieved is great.

I say go for it if you are down with the risk of being hurt more if you get hit from the side. I might get some carbon fiber doors myself. There is always a risk of injury or death from being on the roads. I drove tiny cars and I rode street bikes. Risk is not new.
uhh i paid 900 just to fix the door the first time, so paying 1400 for 2 cf doors doesnt seem like a bad choice? find me a place 2 get a New OEM Door painted for 700, i dont think its gonna happen. First time someone apparently hit my car when it was parked at the gym, scraped it pretty bad on the door. this time i was drunk and i hit the side of my garage pretty bad coming in.

^ rollcage, which begets padding/helmet, etc
the carbon doors wont be $1400 either by the time you spend the time/money swapping the guts from the OE doors to these (glass, electrics, etc etc), and then you still get to wonder if it will fit, if it will be noisy, will you live if someone hits you going even 10 mph (since they are just fiberglass, not really carbon)
if you've talked yourself into them, by all means go for it
I can honestly say that if Amuse themselves offered me a free set of their real carbon doors, I still wouldn't install them unless my car was being stripped and outfitted solely for track use
