Best way to prep for 3M tape??
My diffuser comes out of the paint shop Friday. What is the best way to prep the paint on my Z so the 3M tape holds forever?? Thanks

When I previously used 3m tape on a car (side skirts), I used rubbing alcohol to clean and prep it... It held GREAT with no issues.

Isopropyl alcohol or mineral sprits will remove wax.

^ good stuff
alternatively, Final Kleen and a hairdryer (warm the tape and the surface you're mating it to)

+1. When I installed mine, I used dish soap to wash the bumper and then used the alcohol to clean it as well. But I will use promoter once I reinstall the diffuser.
