Should I pull the trigger? (Redline to Nagaro Red)
Hello,
I LOVE the Nagaro red as it resembles a Ferrari-like Red and just received a phenomenal offer (850.00) for a complete overhaul from my current Redline to Nagaro red.
Only thing is that my financial situation isn't that great but this deal is RARE and it's a new shop that's looking to build a name. They promised a mirror like finish.
What do you guys think?

Soo tempting...
haha. For sure man. I see where the white sealer under neath the basecoat would make it brighter. We can do that. I can do the whole car, prep, white sealer, red basecoat, and 4-5 coats of clear, and wetsand and buff to a mirror finish for prob around 850. That will include the paint and supplies for everything. I am gonna get new buffing pads and new compound and everything. Only thing also is that you have to wait atleast 3 days to let the paint fully cure before you start sanding the paint. It can def be done hopefully in the next two weeks. Just let me know if you really want to do it, and i will start getti to work.

Rosso Corsa. Paint Code is FER 300 produced by Glidden Salchi of Milan.
Instead of painting it "like" a Ferrari why not get the real deal? Also the Nogaro is too dark to be a Rosso Corsa.

I think i'm going to do it but man wtf 8,500??!?!! Geeze!
Also, I chose nagaro red because I was afraid to go with another shade of red and was unaware of which reds may look better. I really like that gt-r red. I will keep everyone posted.

I thought Maaco paint jobs were around a grand, a *decent* paint job from a reputable shop on a basic/simple color setup is around 2.5-3 grand, and the uber paint jobs running closer to 10k.
what makes you think they will give you satisfying results for 850$?

I would not do it.
Personally I don't like red cars.
+ all the red look the same to me.
I think that's just a waste of money. Why paint from RED... to another red? That doesn't make any sense to me.. unless your original paint is all focked up.
