Help a buddy out! A beer bottle was 'kicked' up by a car in-front of and went through my front bumper!

Well, time for a new one! Which bumper is this guys? Any more info please, such as material, quality, and fitment?

Nismo V1

 

^lulz, newb! It is the aerosync, the v1 is not completely smooth near the lip.

That is a good deal. Or you can buy stock front bumper and order a Nismo V1 front lip spoiler from Performance Nissan. Comes with all hardware and install instruction. Fitment is perfect OEM. Material is urethane. Total cost would be more than the guy is offering but it is authentic. Your choice.

 

Or you can just buy a front that doesnt look almost identical to the stocky.

 

Got to agree with this. That is the exact reason I went with the V2 over the V1. I didn't want to spend that kind of money on a new bumper and paint and have something that looks really similar to what I just took off.

 

Good point guys. I was looking at the Nismo V2 front bumper as well. jekl1000, can you comment of the fit, finish, and quality/durability of the Nismo v2?

And finally, best place to get it without having to wait 3 months?

All of that really depends on who you get it from and the material it is made from. Some people sell body pieces that have horrible fitment and others are next to perfect. Even a good vendor can get some pieces from a bad mold every once and a while.

Mine just arrived on Friday so I have not had a chance to get it test fit or painted. It did arrive in less than a week from the time I placed my order. Here is the link from the vendor I bought mine from:

Who makes Nismo v. 2 in urethane?

 

Thanks for your link. I've seen some Nismo V2 with carbon fiber lip. Is that genuine Nismo or would I need to go replica?

 

Here's one with a CF lip. Just don't know where to get it.

I have never been into CF personally, so I am not sure. But I would think there is a replica out there with a CF lip.

 

Some people like the subtle look. It's the same thing as adding on a lip as well.

 

shine auto does the Nismo V2 with a CF lip and there quality is top notch. But it will cost you a good chunk of change too.
