Hey guys let me begin by saying that im new to the forum and i am having a blast looking and reading so much information, I just got a 2007 Nissan 350Z. One of the things i wanna do to it is change the "Fuel Tank Door Cover" its made out of plastic!!!!! How can that be? Is there a way to buy a new one made out of metal? i cant find them anywhere online. Can anyone help please?

i believe sparco makes a universal door. i don't really think it'd fit with the contour of the car thou. but you can try looking it up. you could always just go with a gas cap wit a lock if your concerned about someone stealing gas.

Out of all the things you can mod on your z, this?!!! Explore around the forum a little more and you'll find that there are things that are much more worth your money. I've never heard someone complain about their gas door before.

Just take the plastic door off and fill it all with bondo and repaint.
