Angry $95 for the door switch cover...

Like many Z owners know the doors switch covers get all scratched for no reason and look like crap.

I've been looking at getting a replacement or paint it. Call the Nissan dealer and they want $95+ tax and special order which means you have to pay up front.

WTF, $95 and probably is the same piece of crap that will get scratch in no time.

Any other places to orders them or a DIY(already serached).

This is why I sepnd t $150 and got carbon fiber overlays. Why spend a hundred bucks on something that's gonna do the same thing in 12 months, when you can spend $150 and never have it happen again.

Best part is the dealer doesn't get my money

sand and paint with Dupli-Color vinyl and fabric paint. For black interior, I used flat black, came out slightly darker than stock but after a while, who notices or cares? $7.00 vs $90

Any used ones you find are more than likely going to be scratched up as well.

My driver side was scratched noticably. I just spray painted it with Krylon plastic paint. Flat black worked really good. It is slightly darker than the passenger (which i didn't paint) but its not noticeable and looks FAR better than keeping the scratches. Dont waste 95 dollars.
