Default stain on my paint from wax?

I have an IP g35. Im posting here because you guys are usually more knowledgable then the guys on driver. About a week ago I claybar my whole car and gave it a coat of wax. It came out great the car looks awesome. How ever under my spoiler on the left side of it (where it hangs off a little) it seems I left a little bit of wax and now it seems it has left a blue stain about an inch long and 1/4 inch wide. You cant really see it unless you open the trunk but it still bothers me. The wax that i used was turtle wax ICE paste. any idea on how to get the stain out?

3M rubbing compound! That stuff is the best for everything from scratches, paint imperfections, cone rub marks....seriously. I bet it would take that off with no problem. $10 at Autozone.

that sounds real weird....never see anything like that and from your pic it looks like an ink swipe or something.

Hopefully it is something that will fade in time. If it were me I would call the Turtle Wax customer service and see if they can give you any hints. If only your car was db...

good reason to stop using ICE on white cars. I use to use it on my PPW Z and started seeing small blue streaks around my gas gap and in creveses of the car. Just be sure to switch to something that isnt the color blue.

^ Why not? It's a solvent and should dissolve the wax. Your paint has experienced worse.

My friend had a similar stain on his white 135i. His stain was green though. After a couple washes and buffing the area lightly after each wash, the stain slowly started to fade away. It's no longer there.

I just waxed my car too the other day using Mother's Car Wax. It's a PPW Z too and I've noticed like dark stains appearing under the door handle and on my fender. I will post pics up tomm when it's light outside.
