Dumb HID question?

Default Dumb HID question?

this might be a stupid question but when i first turn on my lights they look like 8k HIDS but then like warm up? and get whiter? it is stock lights on a 03 i just am curious why it does that

ehh, that's normal for HIDs... why? something to do with the xenon gas warm up... Pretty sure u could've found this on google.

mine does same thing except i have an aftermarket set of hids. my buddies does the same, and my old car with hids do it. its because they surge, than they get brighter

The flicking may be more noticeable when the temperature is less that 32 degrees.

Bulbs warming up. They go through the upper spectrum before they settle on 4300k or whatever factory is. 8k, although higher k, is actually less light output.
