Default Apsis Carbon Interior... Feedback?

I was pretty close to ordering an RSW overlay kit before I did some good searching. And from what I've gathered RSW seems to have the best feedback as far as fitment for an overlay. I also came across Apsis replacement carbon fiber dash kits. From what I've read on their site they wrap oem parts with real CF.

My question is if anyone has any feedback on their work. They charge twice the price as an over lay kit. Maybe it's justified not to have the fitment issues or the added thickness at the ends of the CF overlays.

thanks

They are located a few towns over from me and I've had a chance to visit their facility first hand and see their product firsthand. IMO its the best option (quality/fitment wise) that I have seen if you want any carbon fiber interior pieces for this car if your not purchasing it for weight savings.

For anyone wondering I priced out their entire kit about a year ago and it came in somewhere between $1200-$1600 if I remember correctly. Definitely NOT cheap by any means.

They also quoted me $1500 without core charge.

The way I see it, I'd hate to spend $600-700 on the RSW kit and be even some what disapointed with the over lay nature of the fitment. Just haven't heard too much about them. Heck for some posting up here, it's the first time people have heard of them. I believe Apsis been doing this for some time now. Thanks for the info and peace of mind.

If you got lots of extra $ go for the APSIS...but if you want something that looks pretty damn good and a close second, I'd just go for the RSW. I have it on my car and loves it!

Rob,

I ordered this kit to replace the RSW. Unfortunately I spent almost 2K and had many troubles with it. The fitment of the sliding navigation door had to be redone twice and still the fitment is subpar at best.

If you decide to go for it, make sure Jersey the owner will guarantee he will work with you get over the issues.

That's probably only an issue for us '03 owners, but that sucks to hear that you had issues with it nonetheless.

Really? Why just the '03 guys? I have an '04, not sure if it's an 2004.5 though. I'd think that an overlay kit would cause even more problems with the sliding center pc from the added thickness. I'm probably going to go Apsis. I've been thinking of it for a month now. I'd pick up the one that's in the classifieds but I don't have nav, not sure if I can get by just swapping it out with my dash.
