Sound deadening rear wheel wells?

Has anyone tried applying a sound deadener on the wheel wells in the back? I have some really nice material lying around and was just curious if anyone had done this and what the results were like?

I actually did. Problem was that I was only selecting the Exterior/Interior forum to search through. Didn't think it would be in Audio/Video.
