Ok after searching i have found that it is very obvious not to mount you rear harness point to the floor of your z. Is there a location somewhere on the rear strut bar that I can mount my harness to? I am not worried about cutting into the plastac for a secure/safe mounting surface. I will also be posting this in the racing forum as well.

ok, just did a new search and found way more info.

Isn't the rear strut bar too far back of a location to use for a harness bar? Those would be some super long harnesses. Not speaking from experience - just an observation.

I thought it connected somewhere near the seatbelt hinge or coat hanger.

 

can i mount it where the stock over sholder strap goes?

 

Search in the Autocross/Road section. Lots of stuff on harness bars/cages in there.
