What i noticed is that - When i open the door to get out, i find that i grab the handle with my left hand and i use my forearm and elbow to push the door open... thats where i get the factory door handle all dirty and crappy looking, plus the 03-05 door panels with the little bumps in the plastic hold dirt and look like crap..
keep posting pics! i know there are more peeps with door panel mods...!

Anyone with the seibon CF interior door panels????

-J

Yes sir, i have the Frost interior and it is absolutely horrid looking at the moment, even though i clean them constantly. I can never get all the 'black dirt' out of the grooves no matter how hard i try.

Looks good! Again, very cleanly done. (nice tight pulls on that leather )
It's vinyl not leather. If the Z actually had come from the factory with an ounce of leather elsewhere in the interior (besides the optional seats which i know someone would have pointed out if I didn't say it first ) I would have done leather, but I didn't see the point unless I covered the entire dash which I did not feel like doing.

Thanks for the kind words.

Thank you.

The only thing else I have planned for my door panels is to cover the armrest in alcantara to match my headliner and of course run a blue stitch around it as well.

Just like we did for Adam's car except with blue stitching (I gave him the idea to do it on his car ). Adam also had his speaker grills opened up and re-wrapped to get better sound out of his focals.

Shitty picture but you get the overall idea...

A buddy of mine had his door panels done in vinyl and the end result was a very strong vinyl odor! The job was very neat but the odor!!!! Not good!

I remember the ASM project car having some very nice Alcantara door panels with red stitching. That is exactly what I am planning on doing to mine.

I'll try to grab the pix

Here are mine:

The upholsterer who did these did a horrible job, wrinkles in some areas and it is irritating me. Probably going to redo them soon.

I was thinking about having them redone in a suede and get the seats, a pillars, and the overhead piece in front of the convertible top reupholstered in suede as well.
