Lets get a door panel thread going.

I went searching and found a few peeps that have bride fabric or leather upholstered door panels........Lets see the pics..

Pics or links.........post them up..

Edit* - I think im pretty much done with my 03-05 model style doors - the tons of circle dot plastic they are made of are hard to keep clean and look like da azz nowz....

swapping to 06+ panels isnt the answer for me.......sure if i found some i would get them, but i would still want to upholster the plastic section. so lets see what everyone has done custom......... even if it was cause/or direct result of an audio build.....post those pics!

Ive been thinking entire c/f panel replacement.... they look win on the Ferraris, but what doesnt.

Yes me too.....the price of the siebon set of CF interior door panels is high though, so im still considering upholstry work..........but well see......

Do you buy chance or anyone for that matter have pics with the siebon CF interior door panels?

heres mine 06 panels, i fiberglassed in speaker pods then wrapped the tops in CF...also wrapped the window switch pieces in CF to match... then i wrapped the bottom half of the door in grey leather to match the rest of my interior...all interior is done in grey leather and blue suede...

I have 07+ door panels in my 05 35th anniversary Is that considered custom?

 

I didnt like at first when i saw just the doors, but then got to the whole interior picture....

Tonester, not trying to be an *** , just a critic, but is that cf suppose to be that wavy? looks very uneven and wavy.

Still looks a hell of alot better than my stock 05' panels. Exactly what you have done here was another option i have been considering, simply just getting that large upper portion wrapped in leather with some nice stitching.

Looks good! Again, very cleanly done. (nice tight pulls on that leather )

its not as bad as it looks in the pics...its a little wavy cuz i didnt sand the clear yet...i clearcoated them just to get em in the car...gonna pull em this winter and sand and buff them...

What i noticed is that - When i open the door to get out, i find that i grab the handle with my left hand and i use my forearm and elbow to push the door open... thats where i get the factory door handle all dirty and crappy looking, plus the 03-05 door panels with the little bumps in the plastic hold dirt and look like crap..

keep posting pics! i know there are more peeps with door panel mods...!
