Thanks for all the input guys, i just ordered an authentic veilside v1 front lip. Im gonna bring it to maaaco for to get it painted matte black lol. Now the question is, would it look better if i take off the grill w/ the lip? Or leave it on? Im still not certain as to what i want to do with it.

I just removed my 06 grille and I don't think I like it. I have ordered some mesh to put in. I think it's going to look a lot better once the mesh is in.

 

I saw a guy out at the races with an 03 without the grill and I'll be honest, it didn't look good at all. Keep it on or find something to fill in the gap, because you'll wish you could go back after doing it...

 

I removed my 06 grille and put in some black mesh. Here is the result:
