Question paint on aftermarket bumper too dark..how can i make it lighter so it matchs better?

i recently just got my nismo v2 bumper painted and the paint on the bumper seems to be a few shades darker than the car. my car is silverstone which has this light bluish-silver color in direct sunlight but the bumper is just dark gray at all times. this auto body guy told me maybe the metallic was done wrong and somebody else told me it may need to be buffed or something. could someone tell me how i could go about making the paint match better? thanks

I think you have to paint it.

you paid for it to be matched, make them repaint it until you are satisfied. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't pay for a service where it's almost what I asked for.

Are you sure it isn't just the angle you're looking at it from? My front bumper and the front of the hood hump on the HR-style hood looked darker than the rest of the car just because of the angle I looked at it from.

repaint, and make sure you make a let down panel before spraying the whole bumper.
