Default Headlight's getting dull.

I have an 06 and the headlight plastic covers are starting to get dull like the older cars with the plastic headlights. I tried rubbing till the cows come home and it's the same. It's still under warranty till Feb 2010 and only has 9k on it. Is this a warranty issue? Or do I just have to live with it?

You should be able to polish the headlights. You might try Meguiars Headlight Restoration Kit. It comes with PlastiX and a buffing wheel you use on an electric drill.

I just had my local shop do my 03 headlights. They sanded and polished them and then sprayed a PPG clear coat on them to make them nice and shiny. They look brand new again for $40.

It does seem like the lenses cloud up quickly after I polish them. What clear coat spray would prevent this ?

Wet sand them with 2000 grit paper, and then buff them with 3M Finesse It II...did this to my dads 02 Ram and they look new again....I guess that is if you like doing things like that yourself.

Headlights sometimes get condensation inside because they ARE sealed. That's just the way it works.
