Its a functional Diffuser, so u really dont need a rear wing for downforce

i think that with the Z you can get away with putting a front and sides and leaving the rear as is

worse comes to worse piece together some kits

I don't mean to sound cynical, but has this body kit actually been tested in a wind tunnel? I would hesitate to call it functional until tests have been done.
<sigh>
So many body kits... so few wind tunnel tests.

I think most of ugly kits must be functional. If not, why anyone would want to buy/sell them.

LOL. Yeah, I would *hope* that's the case... but I'll bet it isn't.

Sadly, it's not the case. It's all just for F&F looks.

You don't see race cars looking like that, do you?

Actually, I do see a lot of cars with diffusers now on the tracks, its usually just VERY small, or well hidden, unlike that body kit

I totally agree with you. I'd put money on the fact that most of the body kits out there were not designed with true aerodynamics in mind, and have never been wind tunnel tested. I'm sure there are a few exceptions, but only a few.

Does anyone around here actually know of any body kits that were indeed wind tunnel tested and what the results were? What they did to the aerodynamics of the car? Doesn't a stock Track Z have a coefficient of drag of around .29 or .28? That's a darn good rating. I'd love to see the results of some of these body kits. I'll bet some of them bump the car into the low to mid .30's.

.29, and Zero body lift. Thats unbelieveable (I heard that it goes the same with the roadster and the top up). And yeah im betting most of these kits do bump it up, thats why I decided agianst getting one till I see one that is proven to work and increase performance, which might be a while the way thigns seem to be going
