Tailight mods
Has anybody modified the tails to light up the whole lens, up to the point, not just the lower portion?
Maybe with ccfl or something?
I think it would look great on the non-led older style lights

anyways OP, i dont think that would look too good, especially because the tails run off into the side of the car, plus i think the way they are now look mean at night

This has been done and is sold by a few different manufacturers.

CCFL won't be bright enough. I tried that. I'm working on my own idea but due to time constraints it will take me about a month to finish. Opening the tails is not as easy as the headlights.

i wish i had the skills to do something to mod my tail lights as well. I do like the 06+ LED tails but just wanted something different. I kinda like the CCFL taillights on the BMW's.
I'm sure you can add like 3 straight CCFL line to go across the taillights for unique look.
