I thought the same thing about the mold. I didnt request it so I asked him. He said that he is not molding it in.
The shop said what they are doing is making the bumper fit perfect with the quarter panels. Afterward he is going to crack it at the seam and clean everyting up to create perfect lines.

I haven't figured that out yet. I wanted to wait for the install to be complete and take it to a shop where they can measure everything up.
My intent is to as agressive as possible without sacraficing the body.

Some tips from my experience OP... When the fenders and rear quarter panels get widened, ensure that sheet metal is used/spot welded, do not implement any bondo or fiberglass because it will compromise the structure/strength where it meets the bumpers. I think it would be a very bad idea to mold the bumpers or sides, your gonna be looking at major $$$ to fix the inevitable (unless shes gonna be a trailor queen). It would have been better to implement the wide wheel/tire setup that you were going for first, so that you could have fit the width of the body to accomodate the wheels, which is a make or break for any widebody. Run 315's in the rear to be on the safe side
Good luck with the build, and hope all works out well.
EDIT: Disregard my statement concerning the sheet metal... Your obviously running a wide body primarily made of fiberglass, so it wouldn't apply.

She pretty much got an entire exterior overhaul. I widened the sides and rear about 2 inches on either side, but kept the stock body lines all the way around for an extra clean look. It really does play tricks on the eyes, especially with her wide as.s...
She's getting stroked and TT'd next. I'll keep you updated as she is getting a photoshoot here soon. Thanks for asking, and hope all is well out there in sunny Florida.

Wondering too. Are these authentic? If so, what was the wait and who did you order it from? How is fitment?

Just got off the phone with the shop, the whole car is in primer, they are doing finishing touches to the body then block everything and pull it all off to do the final sanding then re-prime and paint. He said I will have pics for sure this week of the work up to this point, I feel like a giddy school girl waiting for prom.

No worries everyone is a noob to cars at some point. The reason the for fenders being cut are that I plan in the future to run a wider rim/tire combo. So to prevent tire rub when the car is lowered the fenders need to be cut.[/QUOTE]
so the do luck rear quarter panels are an over fender kit? I thought it just replaced the whole thing? Or am I being an extra noob?
