In reference to the exhaust. I am having the exhaust re piped, the kit wont work with the current setup. What is going to take place is that I am having the tips sticking out just past the bumper so that I wont get exhast fumes on the rear bumper since it will be white. Roughly an inch.
The car is ready for paint. He called me last night. We decided to go away from the satin paint but keep the same paint color. I am going to go normal clear. His boot isnt a state of the art booth and he knows I would be very unhappy if any imperfections were in the paint. He is afraid that dust might settle on the body and I would notice.
I agreed and we decided to just go clear. I am sure it will still look great though.
I am expecting the car to be complete by the end of the month.

No pics as of yet, i wont be back in FL for 19 days to pick the car up so I think he is working on other cars before he hits mine.
It is ready for paint though, still waiting.

Nope, I leave 6 March. I am going to wait to send the car to Hawaii, I was initially but with not having a secure location to lay my head and tuck away my car. I felt it was in my best interest to keep it stored in FL until I get things locked down.
It is going to cost me 2500 - 3000 to ship my car to Hawaii. Not cheap by any means. My baby is worth it. I was told that if I dont have a place to keep her hidden, I wont have her for long. Some local will steal her and chop her up.
This has me a little concerned, I think I am making the best decision.

Damn man def. looks like they had to do a fair amount of work to get that kit to fit properly.
Are you getting custom wheels? If you are then get ready to have a smile on your face, especially if you have suspension b/c the car will handle/drive as good as it will look. If you haven't decided on wheels yet, look into the concave style wheels.
Are you doing the two tone thing like black hood/roof/trunk?
Are you not molding the kit? I would say mold the rear quarter panels and sides but obviously not the bumpers. A lot of people say that this is probably not the best idea(leads to cracking/breaking) and while I don't DD my Z it does get a decent amount of miles on it, all spirited and has held up fine. I personally can't stand the riveted look on the car unless it's a track/drift ***** that you expect to have to replace every other month, and the bodywork was done for performance reasons not looks.
