Default gunmetal door handles???

Nobody would happen to have a how-to thread on how to do this to the door handles would they??? I just had my wheels powder coated gunmetal on my brickyard and i think it would look better if the handles matched. I know i would need them painted, just wondering if anyone has done it or had it done and has a ballpark figure of the price.

heres a pic of one i found with them done...

Shouldnt be expensive, just take them off yourself and bring in for paint.

Maybe 50-100$?

You should have them body matched instead, it would flow much better. IMO

I painted mine black, but it goes with my whole SS/black theme

Not at all.

There are two rubber screw covers in each door that hold the handles in place, use a magnetized screwdriver and they should remove pretty easily.

i just wish there were more pics...it seems like you have to find a way around your @$$ to get some decent pics of these things....whatever though, thanks again for the info

I hope to go along the same lines as my wheels are also gunmetal, I plan to do the headlight internals and the door handles in gunmetal to match.

after the " body shop " paint chipped off like crazy, i stripped mine and panted them with a few rattlecans... so i say for around $20 you can make them any color you want. just take your time...

anyone think this would match gunmetal or close...this seems like it would be good because once you paint you can't go back, with these, you could take them back off...

When I got the body kit put on I had the shop paint the handles too.

It is now color matched Magnetic Black. Went the extra step and had them clear bra the handles b/c of every other person who painted them here saying they scratched or chipped too easy. Haven't had any issues with it yet.
