Default Headlights painted black w/ halos

soo... this past weekend i had time since i was done with finals and i already had all the parts i needed to paint the headlights and add halo's in there..
also noticed there were alot of scratches on the headlights..so sanded them down with 500grit and then 3000 grit and polished them with rubbing compound and they look brand spanking new.
I used gr8scott_o's DIY on doing the headlights and halo. im a noob at working on car and doing this type of stuff but his DIY was very detailed and easy to follow......
here are the pictures guys, let me know what you guys think, negative or positive feedback appreciated .
Thanks again Scott

Headlights look excellent, but agree about needing to do something with the bumper.

is that matte black or flat black? I attempted this once and it was impossible for me to pry the headlights open. If you dont mind, could you tell me how long you put them in the oven, if you used wet cardboard, and what degrees you put it in. Also, how easy was it to pry it open? Thanks. Since my finals are also over, I might try it again.

I just re-opened mine the other day with the oven set at 250 for 10 min and I used wet cardboard. They can be a ***** to get open but its the kind of thing you have to do first to understand it and it becomes easier the second time if you know what I mean....

first i went with wat was told in DIY, which was 250 degrees for 8 mins, and it didnt do s*$t it was almost impossible to open them, i m guessing either something is wrong with my oven or something but i did. so i went with 300 for 14 mins or so...and it was still painn to open but it did open up u jus have apply some force to it but not 2 much... and yes i did put the wet carboard under the headlights...and its gloss black.. i used 2 layers of black primer then one layer of gloss black kinda looks like matte with lil gloss to it...

btw the main thing u need while doing this is patience.... DO NOT RUSH anything.. i m stating that cuz i realized i made a mistake i had to open one of the headlights again... we have husky... and one of his hair ended up their, it was barely noticeable but had to get it outtt...so yeaaa no matter what guys TAKE YOUR TIME.
