Factory leather on Track
I was talking to a dealer out here in Chicago who said they can factory order leather on the Track models... anyone do this yet? I forgot to ask what the mark-up on price would be.

Okay, the $900. The dealer will take leather from another car and put it in the track. Or get aftermarket leather and install it.
I don't believe you can get it factory ordered from nissan.
Hope this clears this up.

I was told from the dealer that they would put in Factory leather in my Track for $900.
The only problem is you loose the side airbags. I did not want to trade safety for looks and decided to go with leather covers.
Katzkin.com Having local dealer install. Total price $900. Nice deal with two tone and Z emblem on headrest. Plus I keep the air bags.
Good luck

Hold on just a minute. You can buy your Z and then buy the leather package. This typically costs $900 installed and it will work with side airbags. I looked into this extensively. However, the dealer installs it and it does not come from the factory.
The other option, and one I would recommend, is to order aftermarket. You can get a great kit with contrasting leather and stitching from ATD1.com. It costs about $500 plus shipping and a $25 install kit. Once you get it, take it to a local upholstery shop. Not an auto upholestry shop, but a regular one. You will have to remove the seats, but they should only charge you about $100 to install. Normal upholestry shops do not realize how much is charged in the automotive world, so they are typically cheaper. By the way, the ATD1.com leather seats also work with the side airbags.
Now, if you could only get the "other airbag" to shut up when I am driving.
