Default High Beam size? Help!!!!

After numberous searching on the forum, I'm still quite not sure which size of the xenon bulb I could replace the high beam with?
Is it 9006? could someone help me, Please!!!!
I'm going to replace the high beam and that little led city light this Friday, so I want to find out what is the exact size for them, so I don't have to go back and forth to the store to switch out bulbs.
Any info would be great, thanks.!!!

just bought piaa h7 plasmas love them about $85 they match really well. while you are in there do the blinker the running lights, and the little bulbs next to the highbeam I think they were like $8 for a pair they are the small wedge type and if you can get the japanese blue hyperwhites they really add to the look of the headlights

So, Any H7 would work for the high beam? I don't have to worry about the 9006 or whatever it may indicate? I'm talking about the plug that will fit!!!

Ok, But back on the topic! So, is H7 is the actual size or that just indicated the output of the bulbs?

Default H7 is the bulb type for highbeam replacement

I just bought PIAA H7 extreme force bulbs, 55W but output like a 110W bulb. They are close to HID, but are slightly a little whiter at 4700k. I think the extreme white series bulbs are closer to the blue color at 4000k. I bought the PIAA extreme super white 168 wedge parking bulbs too, these make the headlights look good, everything has that slight blue color. The high beams are behind the white round cover that you twist off, it's easier to get to with the wheel off, but i got the bulbs off by jacking up the front of the car, taking off the plastic front wheel well liner and reaching in. From there after you take off the white round cover and under the HID or lowbeam, there is a metal latch holds in the H7 bulb. Lift that latch up and it swings open, then you just pull out the bulb. The connector just pulls off. The parking lights just twist out from the housing and you just pull the wedge bulb straight out. I almost bought some Nokya's because of the price is about half but the voltage is 70W and i didn't want to risk any heat issues.

I purchased PIAA Super White 55/65W Halogens for my Dodge Ram Hemi, bulbs are supposed to be equivalent to 80/100W - no way.

I have true 65/100W Hella Halogens in my ancient 95 Alty and they blow away the brand new PIAA's.

I don't buy their equivalent watts story, at least for Halogen lights (non-HID).

Has anyone done a wire harness upgrade with their Halogen (not HID) 350z lights? The manual is pretty specific not to exceed the standard 55/65W stock lights, so my guess is either that is a) BS, or b) indication they are afraid you'll cook the stock wiring with 80/100's.

Default halogen harness

I read someplace else that the Z harness will accomodate up to 80 watt bulbs, if you go to 100W, it could melt the wiring from the heat if you use them in a prolonged time. I don't know if this is bull but i stuck with the 55w PIAA because i didn't want to hassle taking off the panels again for a bulb change or harness change.
