Well for starters I've never wrapped parts in suede before. I recently ordered a set of unfinished CAS speaker pods and would like to wrap them in a dark grey suede. Any pointers on what type of glue to use? I dont want to use the wrong stuff and lose the soft feel of the leather. I have done a lot of vinyl wrapping of various interior parts and sub boxes in other vehicles but never used suede. Also would it be a better option to use a synthetic suede?

 

A lot of people use the 3M adhesive spray... But I always use V&S 1081... I get it at my local upholstry outlet... I think synthetic suede would be cheaper and kinda looks the same and also if your not fimiliar working with suede, this would be your best option for practice

 

Thanks for the info! I'll have to pick up a can of that 1081. I dont need much material to cover the pods so I'll just pick up enough leather to cover them twice in case I screw up. Thanks again
