dont forget the duty unless that is in the shipping amount.

but yeah - its difficult sometimes with international orders.

Things come wrong or damaged I just try to find someone to that will take it off me at a reduced cost and reorder correctly or with a different vendor.

well, i don't know if i can even sell the damaged lip.. because it's CF and they're hard/impossible to repair, and on top of that, we don't have anyone in the country who knows how to deal with CF.

Sorry to hear about all this. Hopefully in the end you will feel that it worked out well for you.

Based on the last message you posted from the vendor, I'm pretty sure I know which one it is. I'll keep this situation in mind, but otherwise I haven't really heard anything bad about them. Good luck to you!

Another thought I had was that the vendor put less value on the customs invoice so that your customs duty amount would be lower, so if all had gone well then you would have received the parts for a "discounted" rate when all is said and done. Given your current situation, you are faced with repairing and/or replacing and importing replacement parts, meaning more money spent on freight. One way to present it to the vendor is for him to give you two new freight quotes: one for the "reduced" $100 value that he used originally, and the other for the actual value of the CF lip to be insured. Both quotes should be from the same company on the same day. You would agree to accept the replacement CF lip at no charge but pay the difference in quoted freight costs, because theoretically you already paid to have the lip shipped to you at the reduced rate.

Thanks!

basically this is about the value of the products on the bill, and nothing to do with their product. so yeah, their name is good on the forum.

i know what you mean, but again i had the well to compromise because it's not their production that was wrong, but the assumption they took when writing the bill.

Update.....

vendor said new CF lip will be packed and shipped Monday..

Update:

Received the new lip,, in a good shape and all is well..

haven't paid a penny for the replacement yet, waiting on the vendor to tell me how much my dues of the shipping charges.

The vendor showed me a great customer service just after the dispute we went through, and i was even confident to close paypal's dispute before i receive the package.

As i stated earlier, this vendor is one that ppl can rely on and their products, it's just was a misunderstanding and miss assumption which led to unnecessary dispute.

all my respect to the vendor, and will always recommend him and his products to others.
