loose spoiler

Default loose spoiler

my z has a nismo v1 spoiler, and the top of the spoiler is loose. i took the plastic off the hatchback and i could only get to the mounting bolts. how do i tighten the top of the spoiler and do i haft to take the spoiler off to tighten it.

ii think you have to take it off to tighten the upper half

the spoiler is two pieces. you need to take the entire spoiler off, and then you'll have access to the bolts that hold the top half of the spoiler to the bottom half.

Welcome. Take the spoiler apart. Put some Locktite on the bolts.
