Default Hid bulb

Hey guys,

Due to the recent rains, my headlights had some condensation, causing the bulb to go out. I took it out to dry today, and noticed the middle of the hid bulb, where the gas burns, is dotted with brown dots/has condensation. I don't know if its going to work after I install it, but in case it doesnt work, I wanted to ask a few questions. If I install everything back together, and the main bulb does not turn on, is it because there is water in the bulb itself? Or because the ballast is messed up. Also, If I get new hid bulbs for my 08z, what is the highest temp I can go before it is illegal/too blue. Thanks.

also, this may be a really stupid question, but are the high beams produced from a bulb separate from the regular headlight bulb? When I opened up my headlights, I could only see the main hid bulb, the turn bulb, and city light bulb. Couldnt find the high beam bulb. Thanks.

08s have bi-xenon headlights. Both the hi and lo beam are in 1 bulb. A metal sheild moves to output more light or something like that.

I think any color change from stock is probably "illegal" but you won't get pulled over for something in the mostly white range. I have 6000K bulbs. Very white with just a hint of blue.

Edit: Well, I just noticed this is a few months old... OP, you got any updates?
