Is there a replacement fuel filler cap
Like maybe the Audi? It is about the only thing I don't like.....It doesn't fit properly and the color is wrong. An aluminium one would look good. Maybe also self sealing as well.
I'm in the process of hand milling one just like you describe (based on the TT cover.) I had started a thread a few weeks ago to guage if there was much interest for this, but I only got a few positive responses.
So, I'm just manually machining this instead of designing one for production.
I'm going to post pics when it's done of course.

Well that's the problem,
Since there isn't enough interest for me to go the CAD/CAM and CNC route for a small production run, I'm basically fabricating it by hand and therefore it's quite labor intensive.
If after I post pics of my 1-off, I get a lot of requests, then I'll go back and have a dozen or so produced.
Just kick back a few weeks and let's see what happens.

Id like a replacement cap, body color, metal, better fit.
is that so much to ask? dont need a big fancy sore thumb cover, just a simple replacement, so similair most would never know it wasnt stock, but Id know it fit better, and felt stronger.

The Nismo cap will fit the Z fuel cap but you have to dremil off the flange first. I saw one on a guys car at the Chicago meet last weekend.
He said the dealer just dremilled off the top flange, then put epoxy inside the cover. Then place it on, and screwed the screws in, and left it to cure. Then cleaned any excess epoxy and put it on.
Dremil took 10 minutes tops per him.
I saw it and it looked nice.
I have had a cap on order just in case I screw it up, and will complete the dremil when it gets here.
See ya.
