Default Flame suite is on come right in... ebay purchase maybe lol

Well I am thinking of getting a carbon fiber over lay for my Z, but the Seibon is like a grand and that is way to much for my self. I am thinking more half that, so I stumble across a forum where a guy said he bought one from ebay and it looked great. Therefore, I am here asking you fellas you guys think its a worth while risk?

I'm a fan of the "two tone" look on most colors and the carbon fiber roof is a nice touch, but the "fins" have got to be the UGLIEST thing I've seen done to the roof.

Definitely NO.

There was a member on here a week back that had a 3M CF roof put on and it looked PRO and I remember him saying it was in the neighborhood of $3-500 and was the same stuff that BMW used in production on their cars.

(will be back if I can find the link...)

yeah without the fins , great buy but theres no shots of it from more realistic angles ie eye level !
most peeps just go wrap as above said but its a personal thing modding so up to you in the end.

Can you guys recommend me a CF roof purchase then? I am looking at all sorts of places and they claim perfect fit and finish, but I don't trust most of them hahaha especially ebay.

Edit: Here was my first option really, but thought I maybe could save a buck or tow.

Be aware of this:

"Always recommend a professional shop install."

They will use that as liability when it doesn't fit properly.

I would honestly say go through a vendor on the forums. Their products are known to fit unlike ebay sales.

This AIT roof actually holds it clear coat more than VIS and Seibon products. It's a nice roof, I've seen on abstractone's car

i've gone thru 3 different CF hoods on my old civic "NEVER TO FADE" my a$$ it faded bad!! flaked....Carbon Fiber + Florida sun = COMPLETE FAIL!!!!!!

why do that? they even have CF vynyl now a days you can get...plus you don't like anymore just peel it off and you are done. that makes it look ricey to me but i like plain jane stuff.....dull black on silver is my option of choice.

yup, dude, used "3m DiNoc" its a dry carbon LOOK vunyl film, but its not your average stuff... its crazy flexible and has a neat texture to it. It wont be glossy to match your hatch glass and winshield, but you can Ebay it and get a piece big enough for about 150 bucks im sure... and yes have a pro do it. You need to know how to use a heat gun well, and theres alot of compound curves in the roof.....I did my rear strut bar cover and it tunred out cool...no more strut bar reflection in the window in my rear view anymore either. Plus.

Tons of pictures avail out there to, and theres several different colors and variants to the dinoc films as well..google it.

im a fan of the continuous gloss black look, Im just going black vinyl on my roof. If you already have a carbon fiber hood.. that DiNoc would look pretty lame tho IMO now that i think of it... sorry!
