Default Ding in Rear Hatch Near Window

I found a small ding in the hatch on the left side of the rear window. It's about the size of a dime and looks like a dimple. I was thinking if I could get inside the hatch I may be able to push it out. Does anyone know if this is possible after removing the inside plastic covers? I'm worried the hatch may have double wall construction or something.

I had a ding in the same place.

Had a PDR guy come out to my work. Took him ten minutes to massage the dent out.

No worries.

I actually have my hatch off right now for paint. It is double walled, so you won't be able to press it from the inside.

It is double walled but they can do it. As long as the PDR guy can find a hole through the first wall, it should be do-able. My guy was able to do it.

Maybe you can try the hairdryer/canned air duster trick. I always wondered if this works...

I'm not so sure the dent repair kit or hairdryer/compressed air trick would work. The dent is about the size of a dime and looks like the car was hit with a ball peen hammer. The dent is perfectly round, the paint is not cracked or damaged.

The car is kept covered with a padded car cover and I can't imagine how the dent got there. I don't park under any trees so all I can think is someone either hit it or something was thrown in the air and came down on it. I will never know really.

My concern is how much the metal has been stretched. The dent isn't too deep but the deformation is concentrated in a small area.
