the best way to handle this is to get the plugs from the 06+ lights. You WILL have to splice your wires into the new plugs. Have a volt meter handy and test/mark the functionality of each wire, the color codes are not the same.
It's actually a VERY easy job if you have enough wire from the new connectors. The thing is, they are headlights. You really dont want them going out on you. You dont want corrosion or shorting, so take your time. Solder them properly (X them together so they cant be pulled or shaken apart). Use thick/quality shrink tubing and make sure to zip tie the harness in place so vibration cant do any damage to your connections. Seal it all up as best you can. And then enjoy some seriously bada$$ lights.

No need to worry. Since you already have OEM HID assemblies it is plug and play. Tails as well. IF you have the base like me you will have to do some wire clamping or splicing like I did which is still not too bad once you have the right diagram.

i have an 04 350z base when i did my conversion i got my harness off an 05 enthusiast model and cut off the old harness and put the new harness on it was all color coded so no wories about that i used the wires and allot of electrical tape. anyway You wouldent need to go through all of this because you have factory HID which would be a direct swap no modification required. weather you have a base w/o hid or w/hid both ways are very easy to do.

Here is my DIY on removing the bumper and headlights. It is all plug and play and you should not have any difficulty.

no, the lights will plug right up. i have them on my '04 and no issues at all. you only have to do the wire mod if you have the base halogen lights and want to convert to the HID. you will have to modify the turn signal bulb though. i can't remember what bulb to snip
