Default 05 Cubby Door Springs

Can anyone explain how the springs in the cubby door are supposed to be installed? I took the door off a while back and now I can't figure it out. There's a gold and a black spring that make the door pop when it's unlatched - they both have a long and short side. Any tips, diagrams, pictures would be great. I did a search but did not find anything.

Thanks!

yes these are a pain the circle part goes around the piece where the screw goes, one end goes into a little clip on the door i believe and you have to wind the spring a little so it will push the door open and then set the long side into place against cubby i believe hope this helps

Thanks zzzcoupe - I'll give that a shot. Do you know which spring goes on which side (gold/black & passenger/driver)?

Also, if anyone has a pic of the springs installed, I'd appreciate it.
