Default Window Drop Problems

I noticed that the passenger side window isn't dropping when the door is opened or going up when door closes. I was just wondering what some possible problems could be that are causing this. Just so i know what to look for when i rip the door apart.

p.s.

Window still works with manual controls

Does you dome light come on when you open the same door?

I believe the switch that turns the dome light on when you open the door also activates the window going down a little bit when you open the door. Someone please chime in if I have been mislead and am in turn misleading others.

If the dome light doesn't come on, then that switch may be the culprit.

Your window motor is starting to go. Or you simply need to recalibrate it. Im guessing its starting to go cause mine did the same thing. It just got worse. I ended up having to replace it. There is a DIY for it. Good luck!

That was my exact problem. Your motor needs replacing. Granted you maybe able to clean it and it'll work properly for maybe a month. I say just replace it and be done with it. Nissan's widow motors are FTMFL!
