Default Swaping 06+ headlight for 04

Recently i have swaped my 04 HID headlight to 06+, everything works fine, but there is a problem, when i turn on the light, the turning signal bulb always stay on, instead of the 3 little LED light at the corner which look on a 06+, i have seared the forum and know there is so mod to fix this, but i can not find any picture of the DIY, so anyone can help?

Thanks.

The turning signal is always blinking on or is solid on?

you have to modify the wire on the bulb itself. when i did mine i had to just clip two of the 4 wires that are on the bulb. that way it only comes on with the blinker.

^^ that would work but the way i am describing doesn't involve cutting any wires on the harness at all. that way if you want to revert your lights back to the originals you do not have to replace that wire. i just forgot which two wires to clip on the bulb itself and it is a PITA to go out and just pull one of mine to see.
