The screws go behind the front bumper where the lip wraps around

ok i just got an email from the sell and this is what he said.........

1. Clean bumper and inside of the lip.
2. Apply 3m double side tape on the edge of the inside of the lip.
3. Starting from the center, pressing the lip onto the bumper.
4. Using a heatgun or hairblow dryer, gently heat up the lip as you work towards the sides.
5. Heat up the two side corners as you finishing sticking the whole lip onto the bumper.
6. Re-heat the whole lip. Let it cool. Repeat again.
7. After all is cooled down and set, use supplied screws on the sides for extra reinforcement.

Hello, today I wanted to install N1 front lip, but I have a problem with that. Must the stock bumper cut this part (red line)? Or should I somehow modify the lip.
