A few bodyshop issues, please help!! (if anyone can)
Hey guys, seven months ago my car was involved in a pretty severe accident - a suburban blew a red light and took the entire front end of my car out. i didn't need the car in the winter, so I told the bodyshop guys to take their time on it, but now that the weather has been great around here, I need the car back. now the problem at hand:
1. the passenger side xenon headlight will not work, all the other lights work, except for the low beam. we hooked the entire fixture to the drivers side and confirmed the bulb and ballast are good. is there some hidden fuse we do not know about?
2. the front bumper dips where it meets the hood, immediately above the nissan logo where the gap between the bumper and hood meets, the bumper dips in too deep, to the point where it appears that there should be a spacer between the bumper cover and the radiator support, we can not figure out what belongs there to bring the hood up (wondering if someone can take a picture of the hood latch mechanism and the area near the front bumper where the clips attach to the rad support.
3. i have no heat or a/c. although this problem will be fixed by the mechanic at the bodyshop, i am curious as to why there is no heat or ac, simply fan air being blown from the vents.
This car is a 2003 350z touring with xenons, entire front nose has been replaced, many of the original parts have been lost at the point of impact for the accident. any help will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

All your issues seem very minor and easily fixed. I had the same problem with my body guy where i had to bring it back 3 times. So talked to the owner and him personally go over the car b4 calling me to pick it up. Its like they ask the last person who touched it if they finished and if they say yes just wash it and say its ready no one looks over the car. Id say gover the car very carefully make a list and give him a week to fix it. What part of the city are you in more than half of those shops yes are cheap but their work reflects it
I live in long island, I trust this shop, they've worked on probably 5-6 cars (between myself and my close friends vehicles), but i was wondering if anyone on the forums would have some insight on this so I can point the bodyshop in the right direction.
I am more concerned about the bumper and headlight, as the heater and a/c problem seems like an issue any good mechanic can figure out. the local nissan dealership/service dept. told my shop that there are some items that go in between the bumper cover and rad support (literally in between), and this would space the bumper properly up. as for the headlight, they might just wire the driver's side light to the passenger light and itll work properly (this i am not too concerned about). I also know that the car will never be the same and it would be difficult to line everything up to factory spec, but I can try. lol.
Any more insight would be greatly appreciated.
