Default Can't seem to find a paint-matched license plate frame...

Don't hurt me too bad if you find something after a 3 second search....I've searched high and low and I can't find anyone offering a paint-matched rear license plate frame. It seems like every frame either has text of some kind or is chrome or black. I would like a simple frame painted PPW. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help.

I've never heard of such a thing.

You may need to get this painted yourself.

This would be a custom job, remove your gas cap and take the plate and cap to a shop. Tell them to call you when it matches.

Buy one and paint it. There you go.

I just talked to my powder koat guy and he has a pearl powder koat that he is going to do my rims in. He said it is also possible to do a licence plate if its made of metal.

I appreciate the responses guys. That's interesting that it isn't more common. There are several vendors offering paint-matched frames for the vettes and bmws I've had. That's a good idea using the gas lid. I'll get a metal frame and get it to a body shop.

gas cap is the best way, its what I did when I had my bumper painted PPW. Because it is so difficult to match they usually have to do it 3+ times before it is right.
