Default Installing a Asuka Double Hump Roof

I'm looking for anyone who has installed a Asuka double hump roof..

Mine seems a bit flimsy and can easily be depressed on the hump part if you put you hand on it. I'm just worried someone will come check it out and press down too hard causing it to crack. I'm thinking of adding some type of foam underneath for added support possibly the expanding foam in a can like "Great Stuff" etc it should stick to the CF and i can always shape and cut it to fit the roof-line if i spray too much.

also Im getting it clear coated and wanted to know if anyone knows off hand which type of resin Asuka is known to use. "Epoxy or Polymer resin"
Has anyone with a Roof had it cleared only to have it bubble or fade "yellow"

I thought the Asuka double hump roof was installed by tabs that go underneath the A-pillar!!?? Why would you have to epoxy it??

BTW: the foam idea seems cool. Just flip the roof upside down; get some foam and cut it level. Cool!

Asuka uses Polyester Resins. They are now in the process of switching to Epoxy but are still in the early trial stages of it.

You don't need to Epoxy the roof down unless you want it to be permanent.

All you need is double sided tape along the edges and use self tapping screws along the edges under the A pillar.

Also to everyone that does not know, Asuka is no longer going to be a company. They are strictly a manufacturing company now. They have a plant in Vietnam and will be moving over all facilities.

As far as
Thanks for the info

I only plan to use DS tape and screws on the sides my only concern was the type of resin used and weather or not it would hold a clear coat without bubbling or fading down the road. I should have asked first before buying but live and learn i say.

Its my limited understanding of Polyester Resins that they never really cure 100% and slowly release gas that causes bubbling on clear coats. So would i be better off leaving it unfinished ? or possibly a clear material like the clear bra etc..?
