Default 350z with 370z style?

I have recently had an epiphany....I think it would look really sweet to have your(my) 350z wearing the aero stylings of the late model 370z. I wanna get some feedback from you guys though. I want to do this. This thread is simply my first step in the process.

pic that set me in motion.

idk that looks rather nice. if you could not use the lights and get the back slope more that of a 350z i would be in for a picture of that.

exactly! its showing the idea of a widebody 370z. So, its rather inspiring to me to think of my 350 with an aftermarket 370z front custom married up to it. Prolly could use the Do Luck widebody sideskirt "knock-offs" . Some wider fenders and quarters....just tossing ideas out for discussion.

your pretty much talking custom pieces..be ready to spend at least $25k for the work on a full car.

Give you an idea, I spent in the ball park of $20k to get my rear bumper widened, rear fender cut and extended, rear spoiler molded, and the rest of the kit touched up to fit the car. Along with the kit pieces, car painted, and installed of course.

OP, why reinvent the wheel when there already is so many kits to choose from?

Dont try to make a car something that its not. Save up the money and go buy yourself an actual 370Z instead of trying to mock one.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You gotta come original. In the world of aftermarket tuning the sky is the limit. If I wanted a 370z I would just buy one. I am talking about something completely different. A hybrid, really.

I looked through all your pics and all I have to say is wow....... if you paid 20k for that small of a bump in the rear, I feel much better now about my mods. Just my .02 but you could have saved $$$ and just got the rear bumper and rear flares off a wide body kit, then had that molded and trimmed to the sides you want.

Think you could have done a full wide body for 20k.

if you are really thinking of trying it then just do it.
your always going to have people, no matter the idea, think its a stupid idea.

try mating the 370z amuse front onto the 350
I think the 370 amuse looks nicer than the 350's amuse.
I did a PS of it and thought it would be a nice outcome. no idea what sort of work that would need to be done to accomplish though.

A tuner company in Japan is already ahead of you by like a year.

Besides, most of us (excluding the HR guys....lol) would rather have 370z performance in a 350z body. The new styling cues are still tough for me to swallow.

That pic is totally sic!!! Doing a 350Z to 370Z conversion is somewhat interesting, but for the money you might want to do something more unique

I would love to do a widebody on my Ultra Yellow Z. In your case I would suggest you do some more research to see what will work together. A serious widebody conversion is usually a totally custom job. There are a few kits but IMHO they tend to be very extreme. You may be able to do something nicer if you come up with your own design.

IMHO Price is way off base. I see it being done for about $10-15k tops.

IMHO that seems a bit on the expensive side, hoepfully the quality of work was comensurate with the price

Exactly why I suggest the OP do his own design

OP....best of luck!!
