Forgot to say I think the Gunmetal color is a great idea. Looks good on OP's car, too.

Yea I'm not too concerned about the emblems, it's the door handles and reflectors that worry me because they'll see the most abuse. There's a DIY on painting door handles and the guy used wheel paint because he said it can take more abuse. Maybe I'll use that or caliper paint next time. Any one else have any other ideas?

Gr8Scott I've read your DIY on baking and painting the clear reflectors, great write up! Still not sure how I want to do it but you definitely opened up some options with that DIY.

That's a lot of work.

I just got smoke tinted overlays. Not as good as painting them but they look fine and they're still glossy.

Looks good. To get rid of the roughness of it just wet sand and wax it with some 3m scratch removal wax. It'll bring out the gloss.
