Default undershroud required?

have a 05 350z roadster and I changed my front bumper to the ing +1 but now my undershroud doesn't bold up to the bottom of the bumper, is the undershroud required? what is it's purpose? thanks for the help guys.

It's not required but it sure helps keep the engine bay clean.

It also channels air under the car and cleans up the aerodynamics slightly. It holds the front fender liners in place and gives the bumper greater stability.

it also prevents road debris from possibly cutting your hoses and cables. if you drive it daily, i would highly recommend using one.

I have a version 1 undershroud... it is of excellent quality. I bet he can customize one for your bumper with little trouble.

I was looking at the v2 pics and it looks like there is some shifting that can be done with the screw holes by a little bit, I am going to contact him and ask him if number one there is an actual shift that I can move it up a little with the screw holes or if he can make the part that screws into the bumper a little longer. thanks for the ideas!!
